Music Theory Tutoring

While taking his AP Music Theory class at Titusville High School under the tutelage of Ian Schwindt, Nick started a study group to collaborate on projects and discuss the rules of theory at play. Throughout his college career, after studying with Dr. Benjamin Whiting and Dr. ChanJi Kim, he tutored several music theory students through their coursework, and continues that work now. Understanding the significance of theory from a historical, performative, and compositional perspective is something Nick is passionate about imparting.

Nick offers hour-long tutoring sessions, both for groups and individuals seeking a better understanding of their coursework or for a theoretical consultation for a compositional project. His studio is based at Grace United Methodist Church in Merritt Island, with capacities for virtual lessons and home visits. For individuals and groups of two and three, the flat rate is $30. For groups of four or more, the fee is $10 per person. Inquiries can be made below and should include number of students, name of school (if applicable,) and areas of study you want to cover.
