Conducting

Taking advantage of student conducting opportunities early on, Nick’s clear, expressive technique along with his versatile leadership style across different ensembles set him apart as a dynamic aspiring conductor. Nick studied closely with Dr. Robert Lamb at Eastern Florida State College and Dr. Jeffery Redding at the University of Central Florida, and has taken coaching opportunities with prominent opera conductors such as Alexis Enyart and Robin Jensen. While at UCF, Nick served as the president of the school’s chapter of the American Choral Directors Association.

Now, Nick conducts weekly at Grace United Methodist Church, where he’s directed such major works as Schubert’s “Mass in G Major,” Beethoven’s “Christ on the Mount of Olives,” and John Rutter’s “Requiem.” He also serves as an associate conductor with the Cocoa Village Playhouse, where he’s conducted their stellar cast and live orchestra through major productions such as “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” and “Jesus Christ Superstar.” Nick routinely gathers choirs for pop-up community concerts, and is always honored to serve as a guest conductor for any ensembles seeking his unique passionate flair.
